The Edgerton Public Library shares a building with Edgerton City Hall at 811 1st Ave West.
We are one block west of Main Street between Maple and Howard Streets.

Our library is part of the Plum Creek Library System. Being part of this system allows us access
to additional materials from many other libraries in southwest Minnesota.

2013 Summer Reading Program:
DIG INTO READING!
KICK-OFF PARTY!
Our kick-off party will take place from 7-8:00pm at the library. This is the first opportunity to sign up for
the READING CLUB (see below). There will be fun, games and details about how the club works. You
may also check out books that evening. Children who can not attend the party may sign up for the
READING CLUB after May 23 by stopping at the Library during normal open hours.
LAP-TIME READING TIME
Any child 4 years old or younger is invited to come on Wednesday mornings in June from 10:15-11:00am.
*children MUST be accompanied by a responsible person
STORY HOUR
Children who are 5 by September 1 through those entering 2nd grade are invited to come on
Wednesdays in June from 1:00-2:00pm. Come for books, songs, prizes and lots of fun!
READING CLUB
Children entering grades 1-6 are welcome to particpate from May 23 through August 31. Stop by
the Library for details.
TEEN READING PROGRAM
Teens are welcome to pick up their readng sheets at the library after May 23. Read as many books as
you want and earn a prize for every four books you have read!
