Edgerton, MN

The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of citizenship, and helps develop personal fitness.

For nearly a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes (and, through nearly a century of experience, knows) that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.

Scouting is a great way for a boy to get to know his classmates as well as boys in other grades that share a deep desire to have fun. If your son has a sense of adventure or is interested in sports or academics, there is something for him in this program.

Here's some information about our local Edgerton group:

Edgerton's Cub Scouts (boys in grades 1-5) are Pack 167
Edgerton's Boy Scouts (boys in grades 6-11) are Troop 167

The person to contact if you are interested in joining or have any questions about the Edgerton group is Cub Master Scott Bloemendaal.  Scott can be reached at (507) 227-3674.

They meet the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 6:30pm at Runals Memorial Hall

A few of their fun activities have been soap carving, pinewood derby racing, camping, fishing, making homemade ice-cream and swimming.
